▼  In Ketchikan, we boarded a seaplane for flightseeing tour of the Misty Fjords National Monument. There were bigger turbine powered seaplanes available, but we wanted to experience the classic DeHavilland Beaver.

▼  Paul is happy to be in the copilot seat for the flight.

▼  Outskirts of Ketchikan below.

▼  The Misty Fjords have many shear granite walls, carved by glaciers.

▼  Another Beaver from the same charter company flies below us.

▼  Our plane landed in one of the fjords and everyone got out onto the seaplane's float.

▼  After a few minutes of enjoying the beauty and stillness, we took off again. Waterfalls are everywhere.

▼  It's hard to see in the photo, but the dark speck in the middle is a bear. We saw a couple of them from the seaplane.

▼  On the way back, we buzzed the Infinity.

▼  The last port of call was Victoria, BC. This was a short stay on the last night. We suspect that the real purpose for stopping at Victoria is to comply with the Jones Act.

▼  The Victoria Inner Harbor, with the Empress Hotel in the background, is about a 20 minute walk from the ship. We docked back in Seattle early the next morning.

I hope you enjoyed our Alaskan cruise photos; come back again.
